Actor (1876-1959) who appeared in over 180 films over five decades, best remembered as Carter, the bank examiner in It’s a Wonderful Life. Vintage fountain pen signature and inscription, “To Irene, from Chas Halton,” on an off-white 6 x 4 album page with affixed label and magazine photo. In fine condition, with slight feathering to inscription and signature, scattered mild toning, and light show-through from Bob LeMond signature on reverse.
